A partir de una fotografía olvidada de guerrilleros caboverdianos entrenados en Cuba, un joven cineasta reconstruye la historia silenciada de la lucha anticolonial impulsada por Amílcar Cabral. Entre pasado y presente, la película dialoga con los protagonistas de la independencia para reflexionar sobre los sueños, las contradicciones y los desafíos de Cabo Verde, en un viaje entre la memoria, la utopía y el olvido.
Starting from a forgotten photograph of Cape Verdean guerrilla fighters trained in Cuba, a young filmmaker reconstructs the suppressed history of the anticolonial struggle led by Amílcar Cabral. Shifting between past and present, the film enters into a dialogue with the key figures in the independence movement to reflect on the dreams, contradictions, and challenges faced by Cape Verde. It is a journey that moves between memory, utopia, and oblivion.
